Lisa Teasley is the author of the critically acclaimed novels, Dive and Heat Signature, published by Bloomsbury, the award-winning story collection Glow in the Dark, and the most recent, Fluid: Stories published by Cune Press. Teasley’s work has been much anthologized including in the WW Norton anthology, Flash Fiction America and Europa Editions The Passenger: California. She is the writer and presenter of the BBC Television documentary “High School Prom” and the librettist of The Passion of Nell, for a Long Beach Opera 2028 world premiere. Her writings have been translated into Spanish, French, Italian, Swedish, Chinese, and Arabic.

As a widely-exhibiting visual artist, her most recent solo show was at Offus gallery, DTLA, February-April 2026. Lisa is a Los Angeles native and UCLA graduate who lives in L.A. and Mendocino County.
