Lisa Teasley is the author of the critically acclaimed novels, Dive and Heat Signature, published by Bloomsbury, the award-winning story collection Glow in the Dark, and her most recent, the story collection, Fluid, published by Cune Press. Teasley’s work has been much anthologized including in the WW Norton anthology, Flash Fiction America and Europa Editions The Passenger: California. She is the writer and presenter of the BBC Television documentary “High School Prom” and the librettist of The Passion of Nell, for a Long Beach Opera 2026 world premiere. Her writings have been translated into Spanish, French, Italian, Swedish, Chinese, and Arabic.

As a widely-exhibiting visual artist, her next solo show will be at Offus DTLA gallery, February-March 2026. Lisa is a UCLA graduate and Los Angeles native who lives in L.A. and Mendocino County.
