Lisa Teasley is a graduate of UCLA and a native of Los Angeles, where she currently lives. Her critically acclaimed debut, GLOW IN THE DARK, is winner of the 2002 Gold Pen Award for Best Short Story Collection and the 2002 Pacificus Literary Foundation Best Short Story Writer award for fiction. She has also won the May Merrill Miller Award, the National Society of Arts & Letters Short Story Award, Los Angeles, and the Amaranth Review.
